New game mode idea: illuminate.
The goal of the mode is to have one attacking team light up all the lanterns on the map in numerical order to win the round.
Each round will start with the nearest lantern. The more players that stand under the lantern, the faster the lantern will light up. The less players stands under the lantern the slower it takes for it to light up.
If all the attacking players die and fail to light the lantern, they must get back to the lantern to continue the goal of getting all the lanterns before time expires.
The defending team’s goal is to simply stop the attackers from getting all the lanterns before time expires.
Each team alternates attacking for the best out of 3 or 5 rounds. 👍🏾

Antonio Washington: i feel like this would be so easy to stop because the defending team could just spawn kill or camp one lantern or sit under one so they can’t teleport there its a decent idea but i feel like i would rather see juggernaut or CTF.

NinjaKCD: Add spawn protections so the attackers can get out. The attackers can have a "no damage, timed-window" like 5 seconds to prevent spawn killing.

You can also have it where the defending team penalized 20-35% damage to themselves for each second they’re within the spawning area as a deterrent too.

Antonio Washington: He's really not. You can move just one lantern over and reset the cooldown. Plus, it would invalidate Sledge's passive if it was on every lantern

Antonio Washington: the other thing is i would be near unstoppable if the other team had to group on one tile i can AOE and if i camp any lantern that's hard to shoot from or if i have a decent healer and control build i could shut down multiple lanterns just with spells and another that they would have to get to with my body case and point control only anvil or sledge would break this game mode.

Juggernaut gamemode idea: In this bonus game mode, watchers and ministry members temporarily set aside their difference in a 6 player battle against a 7th player playing as dark lord moldyvort, a powerful wielder with 1000 hit points, .5 second teleportation, 1/2 cooldown reduction, and the wand-slingers special ability, being able to draw from every spell with the exception of healing spells. The person playing as moldyvort rotates every round, when the old moldyvort is slain or successfully kills everyone, or if there are 6 or less players in the lobby, they can choose to make moldyvort a bot. Each of the 6 players would spawn on the regular spawn areas, and moldyvort would spawn from a random rift site. Once everyone has been moldyvort once, the game ends, and a places are taken, giving 100-600 xp per catagory, with three catagories: 1: most damage dealt as moldyvort. 2: most kills as moldyvort. 3(gives a penalty to the total xp gained): most damage taken as moldyvort.

possibly even a map of it's own for the game mode? maybe set in the Beyond itself, in a strange map, with the sky being like the nebulous area in the opening secquence.

Boggle Fart: in the original game you fought in the Beyond but it didn’t look like that you would be in a prison or a hall or a train station case and point idk if that’s how it works.
Also i thought the moldy Voldemort would be a boss fight in the bottom of gateway that players can opt into
And for juggernaut if they add it i think they should have like 1K health constant 50% cooldown reduction any spells they want besides healing and like chrono sphere bc its broken but they have 3 spell slots (per hand) and they can cycle up and down bc juggernaut wouldn’t have teammates to give callouts to
But halved movement or something
I would also like to see capture the flag on a map like 3X the size of metro

Robert Glenn: I’m thinking that they are immortal and they have 5 minutes to kill all players and are penalized for damage taken and when i say immortal i mean like 1M hp and whatever is removed is taken away from them

I would like to see modes like Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Elimination & King of the Hill only. I think too many modes will take away from Omega mode.
Glitch Fandango
I think 1 or 2 more game modes are going to be vital in keeping the player base in the long term. A couple more maps sooner rather than later would also be a big help
